ABOUT IMANE BOURBEL
Having spent much of my life in hospitals, I developed an early appreciation for the power of research to change lives. This perspective has driven my current work investigating how occupational and recreational physical activity influence postmenopausal breast cancer risk, where I apply advanced epidemiological methods to generate evidence that can guide effective prevention strategies. With a strong foundation in immunology and clinical research, I thrive at the intersection of science and public health, where complex data is transformed into actionable insight. My experience across research and healthcare settings has strengthened my ability to collaborate, communicate, and translate findings into meaningful impact. I believe rigorous, well-communicated science can change how we prevent disease and improve health. My goal is to contribute to research that not only advances knowledge but also drives interventions that make a real-world difference :)
