ABOUT IMANE SEBAI
Imane Sebai is a young professional starting her career in civil engineering within the hydroelectric structures team at Hatch. Her interest in concrete structures, particularly dams, stems from her participation during her master\'s research in the development of a numerical tool using multiphysics nonlinear finite element analysis. This tool aims to reliably predict the long-term development of the alkali-silica reaction in hydroelectric installations.She took advantage of her academic career to fill her schedule with experiential activities. Between the numerous internships during her bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering and her social involvement, it allowed her to discover and maximize her strengths, as well as improve her weaknesses. At the same time, she found a passion for managing large teams during her participation, as president, on the committee of her university section of Hult Prize, an international entrepreneurship competition funded by the UN and the Clinton Foundation. Convincing high-calibre international personalities to participate in a conference was a challenge that she particularly appreciated.
