About Iman Chaudhry
Hi! My name is Iman Chaudhry, and I’m sophomore in the Honors College at George Mason University’s Costello College of Business, majoring in Management Information Systems (MIS).I’m a driven and curious individual with a strong interest in business consulting, analytics, and strategy. I thrive in both collaborative and independent environments and am always looking for ways to grow through hands-on learning and leadership opportunities. This summer, I interned at Fairfax City Economic Development (FCED) as a Business Investment Intern. I supported business attraction and retention efforts through in-depth research, strategic communication, and identifying client needs to help guide business growth and shape local economic development efforts.On campus, I serve as the President of Mason Consulting Group (MCG), GMU’s student-run consulting organization. I created and now lead MCG’s first-ever paid partnership with FCED; building the program structure, drafting proposals, negotiating support, and leading client outreach. This initiative aligns with my goal of creating real world impact by providing students with experiential learning opportunities and Fairfax City businesses with pro bono consulting support.These experiences have sharpened my skills in strategic communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement, building a strong foundation for a career in strategy consulting. At the heart of my work is a deeper purpose: using business as a force for good, by recognizing its power to raise collective consciousness and inspire unity toward a more peaceful, purpose-driven society. As Dr. Tony Nader beautifully articulated, “The more peace on Earth is powerful, the more power on Earth will be peaceful.”
