ABOUT IMAN AKEF KHOWAILED DSC WCS

With over six years of experience as an associate professor at the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences (USAHS), I am passionate about teaching and researching physical therapy with a special focus on women’s health. I have a doctor of science degree in physical therapy from Loma Linda University and a master degree in public health, as well as multiple certifications and publications in my field.At USAHS, I contribute to the academic excellence and innovation of the physical therapy program by designing and delivering courses, mentoring students and faculty, and conducting clinical research. I also collaborate with other health professionals and organizations to advance the knowledge and practice of physical therapy for women’s health issues, such as pelvic floor dysfunction, pregnancy and postpartum care, and osteoporosis. My skills in observational studies, injury prevention, and data analysis enable me to conduct rigorous and relevant research that informs and improves the quality of care for women.
