Infrastructure & Cloud Operations- Managing hybrid infrastructure (on-premises and cloud), including VPN connectivity (WireGuard, OPNsense)- Deployment and maintenance of virtual machines (QEMU/KVM, Proxmox)- Dimensioning and provisioning of infrastructure for software release and updates- Administration of network-attached storage (32TB NAS with TrueNAS, RAID 5)- Load balancer setup (Layer 4 / Layer 7) and bare-metal infrastructure planning• Monitoring & Observability- Monitoring systems using Zabbix, Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, and ELK stack- Ensuring auditability via auditd and SIEM integration• CI/CD & Automation- Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins)- GitOps workflows with ArgoCD for Kubernetes clusters- Writing and maintaining Ansible playbooks for compliance and system hardening- Implementation aligned with CIS benchmarks and best security practices• Security & IAM- Securing access to critical infrastructure using Teleport- Managing secrets securely using Vault with audit logging- Implementing centralized identity and access management (IAM) using LDAP- Configuring strict iptables firewalls and system hardening practices• Containerization & Orchestration- Managing containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes- Operating Kubernetes clusters (on-prem and managed cloud)- GitOps-based deployment and configuration management using ArgoCD• System Engineering & Development- Deep system-level knowledge of Debian, Ubuntu, FreeBSD, and the Linux kernel- Occasional development in C++ for system-level components• Internal Enablement & Documentation- Creating and maintaining internal tooling documentation and operational wikis- Contributing to knowledge sharing and standardization across teams
