PRODUCT: Invoicing and order management solution for dental aligners and retainers, built for internal use.COMPONENTS: Backend microservices (Java / Maven, PostgreSQL). AWS Lambda functions (Python, Java / Gradle). Salesforce.TEAM: A Product Manager, a Team Lead, 1-2 Backend Developers, a Salesforce Developer, 1-2 QA Engineers, and a QA Lead supporting five teams.PROCESS: Agile development with Scrum framework, including daily stand-ups, regular grooming, planning, retrospectives, and 1-on-1 meetings. Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), the Three Amigos meetings.RESPONSIBILITY: Ensuring the accuracy of: XML invoices adapted for the requirements of 9 European countries and 3 factoring service providers (BFS, CareCapital, Health AG). JSON orders orchestrated through API integrations with manufacturing and fulfillment service providers (ClearCorrect, Createch Medical, Sendcloud).ACHIEVEMENTS: Enhanced the regression test set, covering 90% of the test scenarios through automation, resulting in faster feature delivery. Improved flexibility in running end-to-end (E2E) tests and reporting results by better integrating the Java automation project and Jenkins with TestRail, cutting down the time needed for regression testing. Introduced the shift-left approach, identifying ambiguities and gaps in requirements early, which shortened time-to-market, decreased support requests, and boosted product quality by addressing issues upfront. Created from scratch 3 custom tools using Microsoft PAD, Python & Google Sheets API to automate the generation of test cases and validate calculations, greatly minimizing manual effort.APPROACH: Manual UI testing and automated backend tests based on: Java with REST Assured, TestNG & JUnit 5. Kotlin with Cucumber / Gherkin.TOOLS: IntelliJ IDEA, Git, DBeaver, VS Code, WinMerge, Postman, JIRA, Confluence, Miro, TestRail, Kibana. CI/CD: Jenkins Pipeline, Bitbucket Pipelines, Allure Report.
