Serves as a team facilitator and project manager, and coordinates performance improvement initiatives for various departments throughout the Medical Center. • Collaborates with clinical leadership and staff to identify opportunities for improvement through data analysis of trends and outcomes. • Designs, develops, and implements Quality projects utilizing CQI methodologies, such as PDSA, Six Sigma, Lean or others. • Coordinates departmental and organizational data collection and analysis. • Leads the use of data to drive change, ensure progress and sustainability, and effectively communicates project status across all disciplines. • Manages cross-function project teams in implementing, enhancing, developing, and maintaining solutions to support department and hospital initiatives • Oversee meetings of project workgroups, including facilitating discussions around project deliverables, identifying action items, and assigning team members for follow up and completion, identification of threats and opportunities, and obtaining additional resources as needed • Identifies clinical, access, and operational improvement opportunities for hospital-wide initiatives and manages building of charters and execution of these projects • Collaborates with management and senior leadership in planning and scheduling projects for the hospital that drive productivity, increase data quality, and facilitate business operations. • Ensures effective monitoring of projects. Makes recommendations to develop effective monitoring tools and benchmarks • Leads creation of presentations for report-outs, preparing written narratives as needed • Supports with Post Implementation Reviews and Gap Analysis to ensure plan objectives were met, document success and areas of improvement, and provide recommendations for future projects • Prepares Departmental Performance Improvement reports. • Supports the Peer Review process, identifying opportunities for process improvement
