About Russ Volckmann
My aspiration is to bring the voices of integral/developmental/transdisciplinary/complexity oriented thinkers and writers to a larger audience. i seek to bridge the gaps between cultures, domains, worldviews, thinkers and doers. I work with others to publish Integral Leadership Review, books and the online Integral Leadership Collaborative Conference.The Integral Leadership Review has over subscribers (numbers growing daily) in more than 30 countries. Our goal is for the Integral Leadership Review to continue to occupy the pre-eminent position as an online publication, free to subscribers that is financed through sponsorships. We publish articles on leadership that are transdisciplinary, developmental, integral and/or multi-level in content. In addition, we publish interviews, book reviews and columns.We also publish the Insights on Leadership series of books featuring conversations with executives, authors, and writers on the subject of leadership, as well as books by authors on various integrally informed topics. My latest book is Transversity: Transdisciplinary Approaches in Higher Education, coauthored with Sue L. T. McGregor.I am currently on the Faculty at Saybook Institute, and serve on dissertation committees at California Institute of Integral Studies, Fielding Graduate Institute, and others. I lead PhD seminars on integral leadership and leadership in healthcares.I have been editing ILR for twelve years; prior to that I was the founding editor of Vision/Action, the journal of the Bay Area Organization Development Network, for five years.I have PhD from U.C. Berkeley, was an organization development consultant for 22 years, an executive coach since 1997, a trainer and university professor.Specialties: leadership and coaching; writing, publishing; teaching
