About İLker Ender Ocak
Dr. Ilker Ender Ocak has been working on MEMS sensors and manufacturing technologies for almost 15 years. After his graduation with a BS degree in 2003, he took part in several inertial sensors projects during his PhD studies. He had successfully delivered two 3-axis Accelerometer projects to Turkish Defense Ministry as the project leader during his PhD studies. After his graduation with a PhD degree in 2010, he moved to Singapore and started working in Institute of Microelectronics - A*STAR as a scientist. In this new position, initially he took place in several projects as a team member. Later in his career he first became the Project Leader for the MEMS Consortium 2 project and then Principal Investigator for the IME-Masdar Institute-Global Foundries Twinlab Program, leading a team of 4-5 engineers and other scientists. His main focus was design, manufacturing, circuit integration, packaging, testing and characterization of inertial sensors like accelerometers, gyroscope and magnetometers. But his interests was also extending to pressure sensors, resonators, energy harvesters, thermal imaging sensors, etc.Currently he is working in Meridian Innovation Pte. Ltd. as an Engineering Manager and Founding Team Member and leading the manufacturing team to establish a class 100 cleanroom and develop various process technologies for thermal imaging sensors.
