Dr. Iliana Sweis is a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is the past president of the Illinois Society of Plastic Surgeons. Her experience and skill have earned her many distinguished honors, including being selected repeatedly as one of the top plastic surgeons in America by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. and the Consumers Research Council of America. Dr. Sweis is also the author of the book, Outsmarting Mother Nature…A Woman’s Complete Guide to Plastic Surgery. She completed training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Northwestern University and is currently Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at University of Illinois at Chicago. In private practice since 1997, Dr. Sweis focuses exclusively on both surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation, breast enhancement, body contouring, and cosmetic surgery of the female genitalia. Dr. Sweis works closely with each patient to understand and address his or her unique concerns. She then applies advanced surgical skills, coupled with an artistic sense, to provide the most refined physical enhancements. Dr. Sweis is also the president and founder of The Cutting Edge Foundation, a philanthropic organization with the mission to provide funding of surgical procedures and research to advance the art of surgery in order to treat those with physical deformities and diseases, but limited financial means of obtaining care.
