I have been working with Seniors for the past 15 yrs. When I graduated with my Masters someone asked if I wanted to work within the geriatric community. I think I looked at them and said something about “I will stick to the kiddos”. Now as reflect back, they must have known something I did not. Everyday I get to hear a life story, foster dignity and independence, help identify what is important during this phase of life for the senior and their loved ones. I feel truly honored to be a part of something bigger
