About Ilaria Righetto
Supporting Italian companies to sell abroad is a challenging task that makes you face different cultures, sometimes in complex geopolitical contexts.After getting my degree in Languages, I enrolled in a master course at Ca\' Foscari university in Venice, to become an expert in Russian and Central Asian (Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan) markets.I spent 4 years working in Carel Industries SpA, a company involved in HVAC/R technologies, where I learned to arrange big events, I took part in exhibitions (MCE, Euroshop), I supported sales people dealing with Russian-speaking customers and I helped to manage the Knowledge Center, the company\'s Academy.Then I joined Confindustria Vicenza, the association of entrepreneurs of Vicenza province. Here I work for Farexport, which is a desk created to support companies to internationalise their products.Here\'s what I actually do in Farexport:• Market analysis• Competitors\' analysis • Search for partners and potential customers abroad; business development • Design of projects to get funds from public authorities • Organisation of meetings with experts from all over the world • Managing the website and Linkedin page
