Senior manager with a focus on justice, gender, human rights and development issues, well versed in change management processes, strongly committed to gender justice, with a sound track record of managing high-performance research and program teams in a collegial and positive work environment.I provide direction to IDLO’s research, policy, gender, learning and evaluation activities. In my management / senior leadership level, I work on research programs on justice, human rights, gender and development issues, coordinating and supervising publications and institutional knowledge products, evaluations and application of lessons learned, setting multi-year research strategies and fostering coordination and synergies among IDLO’s various departments. I am responsible for the IDLO gender team, the gender policy portfolio and the setting up of IDLO’s multi-year gender strategy, focusing on empowering women and girls and ensuring gender equality through the rule of law.My team ensures that programmatic impact and long-term results are rigorously and transparently assessed, and that lessons learned are shared and embraced both internally and with external partners.I am also an internationally recognized academic and expert in international criminal law, international humanitarian law, gender justice and human rights law. My publications comprise a seminal book on \"Redress for Victims of Crimes Under International Law\", as well as specialized articles in humanitarian law, gender justice, refugee law and international criminal law, published by top international legal publishers. In 2010, I was jointly awarded the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) International and Comparative Criminal Justice Fellowship, by the University of Leeds and Sheffield University, to undertake research on Victims’ Access, Representation and Reparations in International Criminal Justice.
