About Ilana Neftin
Bringing patient-centric healthcare to the masses through product and commercial innovation. At the age of 13, I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. I put on a brave face but secretly struggled to manage and accept my diagnosis. I spent the first 5 years of my career as a stock analyst with Fidelity Investments. I loved the intellectual challenge of my work, but something was missing. Books like True North, sage advice from mentors, and support from the diabetes community sparked a pivot point in my life. I decided to embrace my inner \"diabadass\" and left my career in finance determined to improve the future of healthcare. As a softball player at heart, I know I cannot achieve this change alone. My goal is to work alongside an amazing team set on revolutionizing healthcare. I have spent the last 8 years delivering results across Product, Sales, Marketing, Corporate Strategy, and Corporate Development at companies of varying sizes. I thrive when solving ambiguous, complex problems and rallying the troops to execute on the best path forward. My combined experience has developed my expertise in diabetes, digital health, product development, product management, product strategy, design-thinking, cross-functional execution, commercial innovation, data analysis (SQL, Tableau), business strategy, financial modeling, and C-suite communication.
