ABOUT ILAN AHARONI

I am a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist specializing in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), with extensive experience in clinical leadership, research, and medical education. As a founding physician of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Clinic at AdventHealth Orlando, I have successfully driven specialty service growth, strengthened organizational reputation, improved patient outcomes, and expanded access to comprehensive, multidisciplinary care.In addition to my clinical leadership, I serve as core teaching faculty for the AdventHealth Gastroenterology Fellowship Program, where I am actively involved in training and mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students. I am passionate about developing the next generation of gastroenterologists and fostering a culture of clinical excellence, innovation, and patient-centered care through education.I also participate in research and clinical trials focused on advancing therapies and care models for patients with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Through my research involvement, I help integrate emerging treatments and evidence-based practices directly into clinical care, driving better outcomes for patients and greater value for the healthcare system.I am committed to advancing specialty care through clinical excellence, education, research, and strategic program development, with a focus on delivering high-value, patient-centered solutions.
