ABOUT ILANA DIAMANT

UX researcher with background in Human Computer Interaction & IT Management (PhD), I am enthusiastic, curious, and love learning from users about ways to improve their experiences. My favorite aspect of research is interacting and learning from users, whether they are enterprise clients, small business owners, social media users or OSS developers.I\'ve learned that the relationship between an organization, its customers, and researchers should be reciprocal and generative, so I adapt my research process in each project accordingly. I don\'t have a \"favorite\" research method, and I don\'t follow any fixed principles and philosophies unless their customer value can be demonstrated in a given project. My academic publications are available through Google Scholar.Skills- Mixed-methods: interviews, surveys, contextual inquiry, organizational ethnography- Usability Testing: moderated and unmoderated tests, persona development, user journeys, card-sorts.Tools- I mostly do prototype testing with UserTesting, UserZoom, Dscout, and Validately- Statistics: Inferential & descriptive, mostly with SPSS and SAS.(for running surveys I use Qualtrics and SurveyMonkey)- Social Network Analysis with Ucinet - Qualitative data analysis with Atlas.ti.
