From 20••••24 I conducted the adoption, integration, and management of a data resource observation system designed and managed by Hohonu LLC to transition and develop into an educational and research resource for marine and coastal conservation stakeholders. Coordinated with 30 sites on Oahu, Maui, and Molokai prioritizing Hawaiian Fishponds where traditional stewardship methods are practiced. Part of my role is to remove and replace mobile water quality data sensors that measure tide height, temperature, salinity, and dissolved oxygen in near real time. I assist in developing NRDS data aggregation platform with mobile app GUI and UX for researchers and practitioners to utilize for reporting data. I will train and support app users and continue managing the network through end 2023 for this grant.Currently, I assist the VP in education and the Aina Foundry Director to develop culturally aligned and environmentally engaging technology curriculum for learning opportunities that build value in our natural resources, culture, community, and relationships. I assist our teachers and partners in navigating and implementing the learning opportunities we develop. Projects include the gaming development, environmental sensor development, field, lab and classroom activities for students and all-ages workshops.
