I enjoy working with local officials, residents, business owners, and technical experts to develop innovative and creative solutions to transportation problems, whether it is in the planning, design or implementation/construction phase. As land and financial resources become more limited for transportation solutions, it becomes more important to think creatively and inspire creativity within project teams. It is equally important to involve the public when developing ideas and concepts to address the problem. Understanding a community is important when tailoring a public participation program on projects. I have sucessfully managed numerous controversial projects from concept to implementation by focusing on team work, creative thinking and engaging the public.
