About Jared Peterson

Soon after graduating college, I spent some time backpacking around the world before ultimately finding my first job as a consultant with Deloitte Consulting located in Beijing, China. Since that time, I’ve just loved being involved with and focusing on leading-edge IT and Telecom technology. Over the last 20 years, I moved from that first job focusing on market entry strategy to various executive positions with International Data Corporation, Nextel, Sprint, and most recently AT & T. These days, I focus on productizing Cloud and on-demand Fiber connectivity via Network APIs the opens up the AT & T global network in ways never seen before. I’m a huge believer open-standards, open-source, and open business model philosophy so I’ve been lucky to be able to spend most of my career working to open up networks, computing platforms, and business opportunities for 3rd party software developers.
