As a part of my passion for sustainability and technology, I decided in 2016 to open a consulting firm to support development programs in Latin America. The firm provided the following services:a. Conducted risk assessments and due diligence for technology transfer.b. Managed compliance to design and install the BIOPLANT, a system that accelerated the decomposition of organic materials for regional waste services in Colombia.c. Supported ISO training and audits to small businesses in the oil and gas industry.Throughout its operation, the consulting firm successfully aided in the development of sustainable practices in the region. The risk assessments and due diligence it conducted enabled effective technology transfers that helped promote sustainable development. The compliance management services ensured the successful installation and operation of the BIOPLANT system, which significantly improved waste management in the region. Finally, the ISO training and audits helped small businesses in the oil and gas industry operate in a more sustainable manner. Overall, the consulting firm made a significant contribution to sustainable development in Latin America.
