As the co-founder and COO of Bootstrap Compost, I oversee the business development and operations of a residential and commercial food scrap pickup service that empowers over subscribers to offset waste, create compost, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and benefit our local food system. With 12 years of experience in this role, I have scaled the company from to $2.5 million in annual revenue, led a prudent recovery in a down year, and expanded to the highest growth market in Rhode Island.I am passionate about creating sustainable solutions for environmental and social challenges, and I leverage my skills in personnel and project management, communications and public relations, innovation and public speaking, and recruitment and consulting to achieve this mission. I also hold a credential as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, which complements my expertise in sustainable food waste solutions. In addition, I am a frequent speaker and mentor at leading academic institutions, a coach and consultant for start-up ventures, and a media producer and videographer for various publications and organizations. In my free time, I play music, coach soccer, enjoy the outdoors, and spend time with my family.
