About Ignacio Bincaz

Ignacio Bincaz is a seasoned energy executive with over 25 years of experience in industry. Currently, he is Chief Executive Officer at Advanced Ionics, a revolutionary green hydrogen technology provider based in Milwaukee, WI. The company’s Symbion™ Electrolyzer integrates seamlessly with industrial hydrogen users to harvest process heat and enable green hydrogen production for only 35 kWh/kg of H2. Prior to the CEO role, Ignacio led the successful capital raising process and negotiated the landmark agreement between Advanced Ionics and Lummus as the company’s Chief Commercial Officer. Prior to joining Advanced Ionics, Ignacio was Head of North America at H2Pro, another electrolyzer technology provider. Before this, he was Senior Vice President of Business Development with Worley, leading a sales team in the engineering firm, supporting the company’s purpose of “delivering a more sustainable world.” Ignacio also previously led sales teams in the Americas at KBR Technology and CBI Lummus in the downstream, midstream, petrochemicals and ammonia sectors. Earlier, Ignacio led U.S. shale gas business development in sulfur recovery technologies at Merichem Company, where he also held various commercial and technical services positions supporting refineries around the world. Ignacio is the inventor in two patents. Prior to that, he worked in process engineering and operations at the YPF refinery in Argentina. Ignacio holds an MBA from Rice University and two degrees in Chemical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires.
