Hello! I\'m Ignacia, a first-year engineering student at Purdue University. I am an aspiring chemical engineer who has a goal to be able to tie together my passion for cosmetics and STEM to create my own makeup brand that focuses on creating products that are sustainable, acne-safe, while still being affordable.As a professional:Throughout my years of high school, I have gained real world experience in the food and retail industry, all where I have been very tied to the being able to forge meaningful connections, fulfill the needs of others, and learn how to work as a team to ensure our success. These experiences have made me into an ambitious go-getter, who knows how to get things done efficiently.My cognitive and strategic abilities are my key differentiators from others. I approach problems with a systematic mindset, carefully analyzing how individual components interrelate within a broader framework. This enables me to see not just the immediate implications of a decision, but also the ripple effects it may have over time. I practice second-order thinking, anticipating long-term consequences and unintended outcomes, so that my choices are not only effective in the moment but also sustainable and forward-looking. This layered approach to decision-making allows me to navigate complexity with clarity and precision.Besides my experience at a 9-5, I create content on social media with a combined following of over people. Throughout my time as a content creator, I have had the opportunity to connect with well-known brands within the beauty and fashion industry.
