In April 2019, my husband and I founded Hello Pitty Ventures to invest in and nurture Main Street businesses, with an eye focused on the premium pet supply market.• In May 2019, we acquired Chopper’s Holistic Pet Foods, the only holistic pet supply store in Fircrest, WA. We\'ve continued to foster the store as a community favorite, leading to recognition as the 2024 Best of Pierce County “Best Pet Store.”• In August 2025, we acquired the Tacoma location of Lucky Dog Outfiiters, a store with a similar credo as Chopper\'s. As our larger cross-town rival, we had established a good commarderie with the team there, often referring customers to each other when needed. Unsurprisingly, Lucky Dog also was recognized in the 2024 Best of Pierce County \"Best Pet Store\" competition, placing 2nd only to Chopper\'s. While we will rebrand this Tacoma location as a Chopper\'s, we\'re assuring the existing Lucky Dog community that they can expect the same great customer experience, since we\'re keeping the same knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff as well as exceptional selection of products.
