About Gagandeep Singh

I aspire to be a software engineer who can write scalable and modular services that can together, solve the problem statement of the product.I have had experience working as a backend software engineer in an Agile Scrum environment. My specialties included learning new programming languages and new skills quickly, problem-solving, writing APIs coherent to MVC design pattern using Spring Boot in integration with a search engine (Solr), NoSQL(Couchbase), and SQL(Oracle) database, and messaging system(Kafka). Testing the API using Postman software. In addition to this, I have participated in DevOps activities i.e. server patching, rolling out new versions of APIs to different environment servers, generating and upgrading certificates.Assisting other teams in case they had queries while using the API.Personally, I spend most of my mind looking at cool DIYs (goto place Instructables and wanting to make one myself), reading about current technologies, and trying to apprehend them!Feel free to reach out, connect, and ask me about anything.
