Geospatial data collected by multiple sources can be inconsistent due to their projection and collection methods. The geometric distortion, shifting and attribute differences make the uses of those data very challenging. The overlapping data from different sources should be consistent and Conflation is the process to conform multi-source datasets and optimize data quality and usability.The aim of this work is to analyze the performance of pattern matching technique which is the basic block of Conflation tools while working on the overlapping datasets.
