Tutoring English to children amongst various age groups: Reception-Year 7. I have also gained experience tutoring children with learning difficulties and in the autism spectrum. This role involves- Marking and ensuring students’ books are kept in an organised manner- Adapting and changing teaching strategies and communication depending on student’s ability and age group- Writing effective and helpful progress reports to parents and providing them sound recommendations on how their child’s progress can be improved further- Supporting the training of new tutors and helping them settle into the workplace.
