Responsible for developing the operations structure and processes to support the start-up medical school, Kaiser Permanente\'s first medical school. Owns and directs strategies to advance an $100M+ operation, inclusive of 6 programs and direct support of the Office of Administration and Finance. Developed processes and procedures to support operations in Human Resources, Finance, Facilities (including Environmental, Health, and Safety), Informational Technology, Development, Marketing and Communications. Key initiatives include: defining the future ways of work and operationalizing with faculty and staff, system wide HR implementation of HRConnect, budgeting process (including formulation), event management process, space planning, automation/process improvement measures, business continuity planning, etc. Manage and train all administrative support within the office and establish the processes and programs for day to day operations including timekeeping, standard operating procedures, project management software, etc. Supervises the Procurement and Supply Chain team including the contracting processes and general procurement and supply chain processing. Manages all Service Level Agreements and Recharge Agreements. Partners with the SVP and other senior leadership (Department Chairs, Senior Associate Deans, and the Dean/CEO) to capture, interpret, and implement initiatives that drive company-wide growth and change. Orchestrates large-scale, end-to-end projects with additional staff, fiscal, operations, and compliance responsibilities. Presents strategies, program insights, and recommendations to executives.
