About Ifé Akano
I’m a scientist and community-builder who cares about pairing rigorous problem-solving with a genuine commitment to people. I earned my PhD in Biomedical Sciences from Weill Cornell, where I studied how histone modifications shape gene regulation and cancer biology. That experience taught me how to analyze complex systems, think critically, and stay curious, and I now bring those skills into my role as a Life Sciences Specialist at L.E.K. Consulting. Outside of work, I’m a yoga teacher, poet, and advocate for wellness. I love creating spaces where movement, creativity, and reflection open the door to healing and growth. At the heart of it all, my mission is to bring science, strategy, and humanity together to help shape a future that is innovative, equitable, and connected.
