About Inga Evenchik

I discovered Product Management as a career about 10 years ago while completing my MBA, and I have never looked back. I love that it is a discipline that combines art and science and is at the intersection of just about all business functions. My approach starts with people and a shared vocabulary. I find that any collaborative effort becomes a lot smoother if I take time to get to know who I\'m working with and learn each individual\'s motivations, goals, and priorities. Having a shared language to discuss ideas and challenges is the next step. It\'s amazing how much time is saved when there is a common vision for what \"better\" or \"faster\" actually means! I think and talk fast, and I\'m never too far from a whiteboard or Miro workflow diagram! In the past 10 years, I have worked at various levels of product management. Starting as an intern at Cars.com (now Cars Commerce), I worked my way up to a Principal Product Manager role, where I managed other product managers at EDealer.(Yes, another automotive company!) What I lack in industry diversity, I make up in experiences with many universal business challenges that many companies face at one time or another. I\'ve coached development teams during their transformation to agile. I\'ve navigated several restructuring changes without losing a beat. I\'ve implemented urgent compliance and regulatory requirements and met critical deadlines. I\'ve launched prototypes and MVPs, and iterative changes validated by AB tests. And through it all, I have learned to work collaboratively with engineers, product designers, accountants, marketers, and executives. At the moment I\'m working on a few personal projects while being on the lookout for the next great Product Management opportunity.
