Research Engineer – Materials Science (Composites)- Designed and deployed a Python-based GUI to estimate GWP and cost of composite parts using.STL geometry; facilitating bespoke material analysis and comparison- Built an automated tool using GCP to extract and organise material properties from datasheets, reports, and web sources; integrated with the estimation system- Contributed to government-funded projects (SCALE-UP, ERGO-R) focused on circular economy applications for recycled carbon fibre. Led investigations into adhesive bonding and surface treatments, including test planning, supplier engagement, and DVP development.Engineering Laboratory (Road Load Data)- Supported multiple CoCs with design and performance data acquisition- Assisted with vehicle setup: bespoke transducer design and calibration, DAQ specification, and full network integration- Verified and analysed data from public road and proving ground tests- Produced technical reports summarising key findings- Contributed to virtual modelling workflows: tyre and surface modelling, CAE specification and validation, driver and vehicle simulation, and advanced optical measurement.
