Teach 10-14 courses per year (roughly 3-5 courses per term) anywhere assigned in the NYC Metro area according to DC standards with a commitment to remaining up-to-date with all curricular changes and translations- Actively work with classroom teachers and administration on assigning/collecting Curriculum Connections and planning the Culminating Event- Actively utilize gender inclusive language and incorporate culturally responsive and sustaining education during the school residency- Attend DC professional developments to further growth as a Teaching Artist- Support at the Colors of the Rainbow and other large scale program-driven events (e.g. Lincoln Center performance) if residency school is participating- Maintain open and timely communication with the Education Team, DCNYC Program Managers, and other supervisors regarding residency-related occurrences, schedule accommodations, etc.
