Monitor and evaluate production processes to identify any deviations from prescribed formulations, defects, or non-conformities and initiate corrective actions. Follow up daily testing activities as per schedule and complete it as per TAT. Carry out prompt quality control activities cutting across raw materials, in-process checks, results from laboratory on daily basis. Visit loading site for quality monitoring of raw materials procured at different mine sites as per management requirement(s) from time to time. Establish quality standards and specifications for raw materials, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and industry standards. Devise ways to reduce cost of indirect spending through reviewing sampling plans, validating the processes making use of modern method of analysis by eliminating or minimizing of chemical usage. Determination of Fe(T), Fe(M), GOI, LOI, CaO, MgO, AI, Blaine number, Satmag, CCS etc. of drill hole samples, Pellet Sponge Iron and raw materials. Train and mentor staff on quality assurance best practices and procedures.
