About İDil Doğa Türkmen
I’m a Physics undergraduate at Caltech focused on particle physics, quantum optics, and computational research.Currently, I work on the CMS Experiment at CERN, analyzing Higgs boson decay channels and exploring Higgs self-coupling (HH production) using CMSSW, Python, and ROOT. I am also part of Caltech’s Experimental Gravity group, where I simulate quantum optical states and study applications of squeezed light in gravitational wave detectors such as LIGO.My broader interests lie at the intersection of physics and computation, including machine learning for particle reconstruction and quantum information.Previously, I conducted research in machine learning for collider physics and astrophysics (SSP), and I am a Rise Fellow.I’m always interested in research collaborations, internships, and opportunities in physics, quantum science, and computational physics.
