ABOUT IDI GUGA AUDU

My background is in Agricultural Engineering and I have a Ph.D. in Food Engineering and Bioprocess Technology. I am looking forward to contributing to the global goals of a Sustainable Environment, Poverty Reduction, Food, and Nutrition Security by stimulating the creation of an Eco-Agribusiness Community which will be marked by the application of evidence-based natural solutions technologies. Expertise, experiences, and skills: • Scientific Research and Development - deep understanding of the complex interactions between plants, soil, and beneficial microorganisms; Biomass Fractionation and Characterization; Renewable chemicals, Bioprospecting and Biorefining; Data Gathering and Optimization; Requirement Analysis; • The acumen for Project Initiation, Technical, and Financial proposals - Capacity to initiate innovative programs to address specific problems such as food and nutrition deficits, poverty reduction, and climate change mitigation; high presentation skills by articulating proposals with key features for justification. • Cross-team collaboration, Client Networking Development - Competent networking skills, with an eye on innovative and emerging technologies and a strong ability in identifying and creating linkages with resourceful stakeholders to achieve efficient project delivery. • Monitoring & Evaluation: M&E plans, M&E methodologies, and indicators; undertaking baseline surveys; experience in reviewing and assessing progress towards objectives, identifying problems and strategies, and making adjustments to plans. • Project management - Capacity to develop a vision, mission, and executable plan with target deliverables; effectively and efficiently supervises projects by planning, organizing, coordinating, and controlling the implementation processes to achieve set goals within timelines.
