ABOUT IDEEN BANIJAMALI
I am currently interning at Garmin where I work on proprietary device connectivity systems for fitness products. I enjoy the opportunity to take on new challenges everyday and continuously learn from them. Previously, I interned at Hewlett Packard Enterprise where I created service delivery and orchestration solutions for 2 major Canadian telecom companies. My contributions helped to optimize telecom services for over 7 million customers in western Canada and significantly cut efforts put towards manual regression tests.I\'m also passionate about staying at the forefront of technology trends by experimenting with emerging tech stacks. I have created several freelance projects, some of which are actively used by local businesses and medical clinics daily to improve their workflows.In my free time, I enjoy creating home automation systems using C++, ESP32 boards, Docker and custom-built Python REST APIs. I contribute this code to relevant open-source repositories such as WLED, ESPHome as well as HomeAssistant.
