As part of the Corporate Banking/Credit Management team at TD, I manage a credit portfolio of U.S. oil and gas companies with commitments in revolver facilities and term loans. Majority of portfolio companies are in the midstream sector (investment-grade and non-IG), but also include IG E&P, refiners, and chemical companies.Working with closely with cross-functional internal teams (junior/senior credit team, relationship managers, DCM, FX, GPM, legal, and derivatives teams, and credit committee/risk) and reaching out to the clients\' Treasury team as needed, I lead the preparation of credit reports under very tight deadlines in the event of new commitments/facilities, revolver refinancings, amendments, derivatives and trading lines, etc. The reports are extensive and cover aspects such as detailed review of credit agreements/legal documents, analysis of business risks and financial results/capital structure, and financial projections.
