External Audits & Physical Counts – Manage all aspects of the annual inventory field counts, which includes scheduling, counting, reconciling and booking entries. Also provide documentation and support to internal and external auditors as necessary.Partner with Distributors and Sales Leadership – To improve the utilization of consigned and loaner inventory within their designated region. Identify under-utilized inventory and work cross functionally to have inventory returned or moved to another location.Reconciliation of Field Inventory - Ability to research, analyze and solve inventory and sales order transaction issues using internal data/databases. Propose adjustments with justified financial impact to Finance.Aged Inventory / Inactive Inventory – Through reports and communication ensure products in Field locations are maintained active, not idle / revenue generating; based on Management defined parameters.Resigned / Terminated Reps or Distributors – Manage the reconciliation of Field inventory for resigned / terminated associates or distributorships.Maintain and develop positive business relationships with various functional groups (Customer Service, Finance, and Sales Administration) involved in or directly relevant to a logistics activity.Review inventory utilization against targets and benchmarks and address with Distributors.Develop and implement technical project management tools such as plans, audit schedules, and compliance matrices.Explain proposed solutions to customers, management, or other interested parties through written proposals and oral presentations; report progress and results.Travel to Field locations to perform onsite inventory audits with a high level of professionalism.
