Some of the high-level duties include data acquisition, log generation, log interpretation/analysis, quality control and geo-steering for drilling multi-lateral high angle/extended reach wells. Other responsibilities include:• Provide on-site and real time data transmission supervision of the Measurement/Logging While Drilling (M/LWD) process.• Provision of well path survey information to directional driller necessary for well path steering and target accuracy to maximize the potential of the well.• Interpreting formation well logs, directional survey information and other well site data.• Maintaining equipment inventory and supervising movement to and from the well site, as well as performing rig-up and rig-down duties.• Tool preparation, checking equipment and advising on repair requirements.• Maintaining a database for ongoing jobs, daily reporting and end-of-well reports.• Promoting safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complying with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations according to Halliburton’s Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines.• Capable of running the following Sperry Drilling tools:* Directional Gamma (DGWD), DGR Dual Gamma Ray* EWR Electromagnetic Wave Resistivity, ADR Azimuthal Deep Resistivity* CTN Thermal Neutron Porosity * ALD Azimuthal Litho Density* BAT Sonic Bimodal Acoustics* Geo-Pilot (Rotary Steerable),*ABI At Bit Inclination* PWD Pressure While Drilling, DDS Vibration* AFR Azimuthal Focus Resistivity* MRIL-WD Magnetic Resonance Imaging While Drilling Drilled extended reach wells for maximum reservoir contact on ZADCO Island, Multi-lateral wells in Total ABK UAE, Extend reach wells for ADMA-OPCO in UMM-SHAIF Field, Drilled several deep lateral wells for ADCO in Several fields such as BAB, ASAB, JUMAILA, QUASHWIRA, also drilled vertical wells in AL-HOSN project in SAHIL field
