I am an engineering and subsurface professional with extensive experience supporting Class I, Class II, Class V, and emerging Class VI Underground Injection Control (UIC) well projects in the United States and internationally. My work focuses on the technical, regulatory, and operational execution of injection well systems, from early feasibility and permitting through drilling, testing, and long-term surveillance.At Advantek Waste Management Services, I support public agencies, industrial operators, waste management companies, and energy clients with UIC permitting strategy, feasibility studies for liquid waste, saline water, biosolids, and CO₂ injection, injection well and facility design support, drilling and completion planning, and post-injection monitoring. I am actively involved in pressure fall-off testing (PFOT), injectivity analysis, and preparation of technical reports and regulatory responses to support permit approvals and compliance.I have direct experience supporting CO₂ injection and carbon storage projects, with a focus on the technical structure and regulatory expectations associated with Class VI UIC wells. My involvement includes subsurface characterization, injectivity and storage capacity evaluation, pressure management considerations, area-of-review concepts, and monitoring and surveillance planning consistent with EPA Class VI requirements. This work emphasizes containment integrity, defensibility, and alignment with heightened regulatory scrutiny for geologic sequestration projects.In addition to deep injection systems, I have experience supporting Class V UIC wells, particularly for non-traditional injection applications, pilot projects, and site-specific regulatory pathways. My role has included technical feasibility evaluation, regulatory classification support, and development of documentation to address environmental protection and operational controls, often within less prescriptive regulatory frameworks.I regularly work within EPA UIC programs and state regulatory agencies, including coordination with the Texas Railroad Commission, and collaborate closely with operators, drilling contractors, geoscientists, and multidisciplinary engineering teams. My background bridges subsurface engineering, regulatory compliance, and client-facing technical communication, allowing me to translate complex subsurface data into clear, defensible decisions for regulators and stakeholders.
