Proactively managing risk through timely patching of diverse virtual machines (Linux - CentOS, Ubuntu, Windows Server, Windows 10), physical workstations, NAS appliances, and VMware ESXi hosts •Facilitating Terminal Services on Windows Server via access through RDP to enable seamless connectivity for internal client users, field users, and contractors, ensuring secure and efficient access to the on-premise environment. •Maintenance of video streaming and distribution system which is hosted on Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, and WOWZA streaming platform. The streaming service distributes feeds from over 200 cameras to major business stakeholders •Supporting a multi-site infrastructure in the event of a disaster recovery scenario via SAN replication, and Veeam backup infrastructure •Acting as an escalation and triage point to field maintenance and contracting teams who services over 200 ruggedized switches, cameras, and other network end devices •Creating and managing VMs in VMware 7 in a High Availability cluster, and hosted on Dell SAN to the specification of client requirements •Monitoring VM performance and availability with Paessler PRTG for network/system visibility •Onboarding VM’s into SumoLogic SIEM platform for assisting with root cause analysis and auditing •Creation of users in Active Directory with MFA enabled via OKTA and the utilization to of Group Policy to lower administrative overhead •Creating and maintaining designs, diagrams, and documentation of server infrastructure with Visio, Excel, and Word to assist with hardware upgrades and capacity planning
