Ian is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager and has over 35 years experience in the UK construction industry.Ian is a Project Director with Mott MacDonald in north Wales and has held positions as Director of private companies operating both in the UK and overseas. During his career he has acted as an expert witness, joint expert and assisted parties in Adjudication, Arbitration and Mediation as well as acting as an expert witness and in 2007 qualified as a Mediator, accredited by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is Registered with the Civil Mediation Council.Ian has previously been a Branch Chairman, Treasurer and QS Division Chairman and Secretary of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) North Wales Branch at both senior and JO levels.Ian has also served as the Branch Chairman of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators North West Branch (20••••12) and is still a member of the Branch Committe and editor of the Branch Newsletter.Specialties: Project & Cost Management, Civil & Commercial Mediation and other forms of ADR (Adjudication & Arbitration) and providing CDM 2015 Advice.Recently completed the \"ThinkBuzan Basic Mind mapping Techniques\" course and the CIArb Ethics course.
