ABOUT IAN WASHBROOK

I have a leadership role in the delivery of structural engineering projects for the Entuitive Calgary office and I contribute to resource management, quality assurance, technical committees, and the mentoring of staff across Entuitive\'s offices. When managing and leading projects I enjoy being involved from conceptual design through to construction. I\'m able to dive in and assist colleagues thanks to 20 years’ experience as a structural engineering consultant. Some of the cool projects I\'ve worked on or working on include the Calgary Event Centre, MacKimmie Complex Redevelopment, Haskayne School of Business Mathison Hall, and Taylor Institute for Teaching and Learning at the University of Calgary, Calgary\'s New Central Library, Calgary Opera and Community Arts Centre, 9th Ave Parkade and Platform, Rocky View County Administration Building, Crossings Ice Complex in Lethbridge, three of Toronto’s preeminent cultural centres: the National Ballet School of Canada, the Royal Conservatory of Music, and the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts. My diverse portfolio includes high-profile projects in the low-rise commercial, sports and recreation, institutional, low and high-rise residential, hospitality, municipal, transportation, light industrial, and retail sectors.
