I am an electric personality with a broad set of experience and skills, currently leading the Public Works Department at Naval Station Newport, RI. I managed construction contracts in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and Bethesda, MD, and led Seabees deployed to Haiti and Greece. I was the first Civil Engineer Corps officer assigned to the Marine Barracks in Washington, D.C, where I established the base\'s first Master Plan, corrected real estate discrepancies with the City of Washington, assisted in development of Environmental Impact Statements, and incorporated 45% annual savings in the service contracts. Transitioning to the world of academia, I attained my Masters of Engineering in Civil Engineering at the University of Florida and an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina.
