About Ian Thompson
Hi, I’m Ian Thompson, a skilled compliance manager & project manager with the knowledge and experience to build & lead strong, efficient & compliant teams. As a Team Lead I trained, coached, corrected, and offered individual goals, honing my team into one of the top New Accounts departments in the entire company. As a member of the office Culture Club, I helped to create a working environment centered around efficiency and collaboration. In every position I hold, I quickly prove myself as a top performer, one who goes above the job functions. I earned a spot in the top 10% of all analysts for five consecutive months as a Credit Analyst and promoted quickly through two other positions to become a Team Lead where I built tracking and quality assurance systems while leading my team to successful results within our department. Afterwards, I journeyed into the world of internal compliance, where my career path began to take shape & facilitated my growth to where I am today as a Compliance Manager. I am proficient in credit and banking procedures including monitoring & testing, strategic partnership oversight, credit analysis, loans, marketing reviews, banking products, automotive finance, and credit protection. I have a multitude of experience dealing with various consumer compliance regulations including, but not limited to: BSA/AML, ECOA, EFTA, E-SIGN, FACTA, FCRA, MLA, SCRA, TILA, and UDAAP.I am recently concluded my MBA studies at Saint Leo University, and I am grateful for the opportunity to further my education and obtain my MBA with an emphasis in Sport Management from a terrific school. The courses aided in expanding my business acumen and allowed me to become a better employee, leader, and contributor to my company.
