Greetings! I\'m Ian T. D. Thomson, a legal and public policy professional currently pursuing my JD at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. Excitingly, I\'ll be joining Torys LLP as an articling student in 2024. My academic journey includes earning a Masters of Public Policy from the Munk School of Global Affairs in 2018. As a former independent policy consultant, I specialized in research, data analysis, and providing strategic advice to a diverse range of clients, including governments, research institutes, charities, tribunals, and political parties, particularly during provincial and federal elections. Beyond my policy work, I\'ve led, produced, and hosted various radio shows and podcasts. I\'ve also published a number of academic papers, think tank reports, op-eds, news articles, and newsletters.
