ABOUT IAN SUTHERLAND

An experienced Portfolio, Program and Project Manager who has worked in North America, Australia, the UK and the Middle East on complex projects across a range of industries including public transport, aviation, health, defence, construction and finance. Has experience in: • design of hydrogen systems for energy transition and decarbonization of mobility and static applications, particularly for hydrogen fuel cell powered rail vehicles and hydrogen infrastructure required at airports to support the operation of hydrogen powered commercial aircraft • client side management of major public transport projects • working with project sponsors to define required program and project outcomes • organisational change management • improving the business processes of an existing organisation • managing projects through the full life-cycle of an investment • independent progress assurance reviews of programs and projects • running a Program Management Office (PMO).
