I started the company in 2007 after leaving another local company. We specialise in disabled access consultancy. We provide access audits, plan appraisals, access statements and training around the whole area of disability.My work has taken me all over the UK including N. Ireland and the Channel Islands and as far a field as Gibraltar and the middle east. I have worked on many different types of buildings from new to listed properties and from the corner shop to large portfolios (300+ sites). Clients include local government, national charities, schools, housing associations and retail to name a few areas.Between November 2011 to September 2014 I was appointed the Access Association representative on the committee for BS8300: Design of buildings & their approaches to meet the needs of disabled people - code of practice, this is one of the key documents when looking to improve accessibility. This gave me the opportunity to influence guidance and better understand thinking behind changes to design detail.In 2014 I was accepted on to Network Rail\'s BEAP (Built Environment Access Panel). This panel looks at access to and around rail stations and provides advice to Network Rail on improving access to the buildings and structures in their charge.May 2015 I became a member of the National Register of Access Consultant\'s management board retiring from it in 2019.
