Manage and develop content for all MISD communication platforms to tell stories about the hard-working students, staff, and great schools in the District.• Engage with and listen to community members and groups as a member of the Superintendent Community Advisory, Superintendent Equity Advisory, Superintendent Realtor Advisory, Superintendent Student Advisory, and PTA Council. • Develop annual Superintendent Communications Plan to show the direction the district will take to communicate with our schools and broader community.• Developed strategic partnership with school ranking site Niche to increase student enrollment and engage with private school families living on the island.• Organize district attendance at and develop marketing materials for community events such as Summer Celebration, MIPA Circus, MIPA Preschool Fair, and JCC Touch-A-Truck. • For the 2023-24 school year redesigned annual student calendar and introduced a cultural calendar to honor and recognize members of our schools as well as the cultural and religious traditions that embody the island community. • One of two project leaders on launch of new district and school websites with FinalSite.• Created communications plan for MI Phone-Free Schools, MISD’s new cell phone policy for middle and high school students.
