I make connections, develop partnerships and drive strategy, with the aim… to increase performance.I joined HSBC in 2010, I’ve since discovered what I’m good at, and the areas that I find more difficult. It means I can play to my strengths. Collaboration, strategy, and a solution focused mindset are absolutely ‘my bag’.I’ve covered roles ranging from where it all started, back in our Retail Banking contact centre, through Mid-Market Corporates and Large Corporates. I really found my ‘sweet-spot’ as Sector Head for Public Sector and Education and took that passion and skillset into my Business Performance and Strategy role in the UK Commercial Banking Chief of Staff office. That then brought me back into our UK Retail Bank, leading the International Strategy and Proposition. It’s the awareness of my skill set that brought me here, its where I’m going to have the biggest impact and thoroughly enjoy what I do.It’s here I want to continue to make connections and help people bank in the UK and overseas. It’s HSBC’s heritage and the more people I talk to about the challenges they face with international banking, the more I think / know we can help.
